REFERRALS

This is a referral listing only and is not a guarantee of workmanship. These referrals are based on good words from my clients over the years and professional relationships through The SeatWeavers' Guild, Inc.
For efficient and accurate assistance, make sure to include photos of your restoration needs when contacting these specialists. (Be patient to get in touch- we are all busy!)

Rushing

Picture
As of January 2016- no longer offering Rushing
Originally, rushing referred to the natural rush material used to weave seats and backs out of hand harvested and hand rolled straw-like strand- typically harvested cat tail leaves or bullrush. Today, rushing is a term used for the specific technique of weaving continuous rope around rungs to create solid seats and backs with a pattern that resembles triangles meeting in the middle- regardless of material used.
