WHAT IS IT? Chair seats or backs woven with wide, flat slats around rungs in a herringbone or basket weave pattern. It is often seen on porch rockers and ladder back chairs. This is a great option for chair backs since the reverse side can be as finished at the front and does not show any knots or staples

Reed Splint

Reed Splint: Flat rattan strips for use on round rungs only. It can easily be finished with stain and sealant or painted if desired. It comes in many different widths and in smoked or natural.

Fiber Splint

A heavy duty paper fiber that is tinted and printed to resemble wood grain. It is generally used on squared off rungs where the splint needs to wrap around sharp edges.
